Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor



Our client is a foundation piling subcontractor and also part of a much larger main contracting group They are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor to support an increased workload based from their offices in South Manchester. The value of projects is between £20K and £15M, an average project c£250K. The work requires flexibility and mobility.



Essential

• Able to manager projects from inception through to completion

• Reports to the Commercial Manager

• Responsible for preparation of monthly cost and value reports

• Agreement of subcontract terms and conditions

• Negotiation of wording of bonds and warranties

• Monitoring and ensuring payments on time

• Negotiation of final account settlements

• Liaising with contract management

• General commercial matters in a busy contracting Head Office

• Able to oversee and support junior members of the commercial team



Desirable

• Good team player

• Lively and enthusiastic personality

• A relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying highly desirable, ARICS preferred

• Must have a can-do attitude, willing to travel
